Janna and Zachary met at a yoga workshop in Portland and moved to Bowdoinham in 2020 to build a life rooted in creativity, homesteading, and community. Their son, Oliver, joined the mix in 2022.

Janna creates handbuilt functional pottery with richly decorated surfaces inspired by their homestead life. Zachary, a massage therapist of 25+ years, makes raku-fired wheel-thrown vases and handbuilt menorahs. Together, they collaborate on pottery and run Turning Arts Studio—a space for creativity, wellness, and connection.
